Henry: Riding a bike?!

This effort came down to the fact that Ralph learned to ride a bike without training wheels before he started 1st grade, the clock was ticking for Henry to reach this milestone before 1st grade started.  I am the first to admit we were terrible about getting outside and working on this endeavor but every child should know how to ride a bike so . . . .

Henry was never keen on the idea of riding without training wheels.  By the end of July he could ride without training wheels as long as someone started him off . . and he didn't get too side tracked and turn the handle bars too abruptly which ended in a fall to the ground . . and his stopping usually involves jumping off or running into the grass for a softer landing.

In summary we have some work to do.  It was easier for him to learn than another individual in the family BUT Henry is not the most willing participant and we have not been back outside much since the photos were taken to perfect the last challenges to become a better rider.
