4th of July!

July 4th came a bit early this year as we lit fireworks the weekend before.  Uncle Nick was in town for the weekend.  There was a threat of rain in the evening so we did mostly day time fireworks (which was good because it did end up downpouring later in the evening).

The afternoon provided to be a bit windy though.  The boys tried to help block the wind . . .

By the next afternoon it was clear Henry had a scratch on his eye and by July 4th he was spending 24 hours with his eye patched and wasn't in the mood to go anywhere so Ralph and I ventured to the Waverly Parade . . .

Ralph had heard about the coin find at the Waverly Pool from some other kids and wanted to check it out so we headed back to Waverly after lunch for some pool fun.  He participated in the coin find and observed but did not participate in the belly flop contest.
